Marilisa del Ninno

Marilisa del Ninno is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology where she earned her accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree. During her time at IIT, she gained experience working with clients on projects located in major U.S. cities including Chicago and New York City, where she designed a modern pod hotel, a Montessori preschool, and two high schools. Ms. del Ninno spent a semester studying abroad in Venice, Italy where she collaborated with Italian architects on the preservation and restoration of the old city of L’Aquila after a natural disaster. She also worked on projects with the city of Aquilea that included an indoor public facility and an outdoor museum with bike paths to allow visitors to tour the ancient ruins.
Ms. del Ninno has collaborated on residential, educational, and commercial designs. Her strengths include three-dimensional modeling using Revit, BIM, and graphic presentations. Her work at Maginniss + del Ninno Architects has included interior and exterior renovations and additions for educational, residential, and commercial buildings. Ms. del Ninno is pursuing her architectural registration while actively participating in the AIA Women in Architecture Committee as Communication Chair.
