Dezenhall Resources

Tenant Fit Out

Maginniss + del Ninno Architects assisted Dezenhall Resources in relocating to new offices that accommodate its present and future space requirements. The program for the crisis management consulting firm includes unique spaces, and responds to three objectives articulated by the client during the programming phase of services: develop a controlled secure separation between public and staff work areas, without creating the impression of a barrier; create a multi-purpose media training room with state-of-the-art technical capabilities; and, incorporate a variety of conference and presentation spaces.

The public spaces containing the reception, media training, and conference rooms are organized in a “V” shape, accessed from the elevator lobby. Glass walls separate the reception area from the conference room and media training room. Glazed doors with access control lead from the public spaces to the staff work areas with restricted access.

The spaces are finished with limestone flooring, mahogany and maple wood millwork, and glazed partitions. Maginniss + del Ninno specified all of the interior furnishings and finishes and designed the reception desk, end tables, and conference room table. The perimeter offices are designed with glazed wall openings and doors to invite daylighting to the interior while preserving privacy for office occupants.
